Voodoo Queen Color Study

I was experimenting with an organized system for painting in Photoshop. Before I sort of just applied all the color over the rough sketch and it would take a lot of clean up. I tried to paint using the ambient occlusion process, but I am not that patient to create a drawing and make an AO layer. So I made a tinted underpainting and tried the following process. It was pretty fast once the underpainting and flat colors were established. Will experiment more in the future. I was inspired by Ana Mendes 3D sculpture here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/181JbG
