Swing Fairy

Published in Heavy Metal Magazine under a Sandra Chang-Adair gallery. Also published in my art book, "Steampunk Rising: The Art of Sandra Chang-Adair" by SQP Books.
This sexy, Black, African American Fairy has a charming smile and has large translucent butterfly wings and is sitting on a flower-adorned swing carried off by a giant green cockatiel bird. Her coiffure is styled after Marie Antoinette's hairstyle and she wears a corset with layers of a long, flowing skirt. This is a whimsical, fantasy painting is influenced by 18th Century French Boudoir Paintings by François Boucher. This is an older painting and part of a series of fairies I created.
