Steampunk Alice in Wonderland Mad Hatter Air Ship

Steampunk Alice is aboard the Mad Hatter's Airship enjoying the tea party he is hosting.
I originally started this painting years ago and it lay in my computer untouched. I finally found it last winter and decided to finish it. It depicts one of my favorite subjects, Steampunk Alice, enjoying a tea party hosted by the infamous Mad hatter. His late afternoon tea party is held on a airship flying though the clouds. Behind the picturesque window is the Victorian city below. Seated at the table are the March Hare, dressed in an aviator costume, the Door Mouse nibbling on a strawberry, and of course Alice, herself. The Cheshire cat is curled about the back of her chair. The White Rabbit is standing near Alice. I've included my friend's white maltese, JoJo, sitting at the table. My dog, Ripley, the Shetland Sheepdog is bringing in a pink cheesecake she made to add to the desserts. Also in the painting is the first time I've painted my new Australian Shepherd, Penny, who looks very dapper in her cape. I'm very pleased with this fairy tale painting and its sunset colors.
